Mia Kang is a Hongkonger-British model, Muay Thai fighter, and former commodities trader.
Early life and education[edit]
Kang is of Korean and British descent. She also holds a Swiss passport. She has a degree in philosophy and economics from the University of Bristol and a master's degree in finance and financial law from the School of Oriental and African Studies in London.[3]
Career[edit]
Kang began her modelling career when she was 13 years old and has modeled for the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue in 2017.[4] She has been on the covers of several magazines, including the Hong Kong versions of Elle and Harper's Bazaar. She is also a martial arts fighter,[5][6] having competed in her first Muay Thai in 2017.[7]
Before becoming a Muay Thai boxer, Kang previously suffered from an eating disorder due to the standards of the modelling industry.[8]
