Mia Lakra is an Indian model and television personality. She started her career with MTV Splitsvilla season 8.[3] She was a wild card entry in Splitsvilla Season 9 and was a semi-finalist.[4] Mia Lakra was born into a humble family on September 25, 1992 in New Delhi, India. She did her schooling in New Delhi and moved to Kamla Nehru College for graduation in Mass Communication and Journalism. She also did a master's in Journalism.
Career
She pursued modelling as a career in 2012, and managed to secure a few local contracts. She also starred in anchoring roles for NDTV and then later became part of Splitsvilla. She participated in SPLITSVILLA in 2014. Later, she gained popularity among young people as she participated in the ninth edition of MTV India's stunt reality show MTV Splitsvilla in 2016, and was a semi-finalist. Mia Lakra wishes to have a career like Priyanka Chopra.
Splitsvilla Season 8
She starred in a popular reality TV show in India, Splitsvilla Season 8, aired on MTV in 2015. She joined the likes of Sana Saeed, Subuhi Joshi and Prince Narula to compete for the title. She was voted the most popular female contestant by the young audience of the show.
Splitsvilla Season 9
She was invited to Splitsvilla Season 9 as a wild card entry and this time she was a semi-finalist.
