Michael James Pratt is an American fugitive wanted for sex trafficking and production of child pornography. He was added to the FBI Ten Most Wanted Fugitives list on September 7, 2022. He allegedly coerced young women into appearing in pornographic films by falsely telling them they were being recruited for modeling jobs[1]

Michael James Pratt was born on November 10, 1982 in New Zealand. From 2012 to 2019, he owned and operated the pornographic websites GirlsDoPorn and GirlsDoToys. During this time, he is alleged to have coerced hundreds of women into producing sexually explicit videos for the websites. He would allegedly lure women with ads for modeling jobs, and when the women arrived, would tell them the jobs actually involved creating sexually explicit videos. Despite telling them that the videos would not be posted online, he would post them anyway. The websites have since been taken down.[2]. Several other people involved with GirlsDoPorn and GirlsDoToys have been arrested for their involvement in a variety of crimes related to the content produced for the websites. Pornographic actor Ruben Andre Garcia pleaded guilty to Conspiracy to Commit Sex Trafficking by Force, Fraud and Coercion and was sentenced to 20 years in prison.[3]. Theodore Wilfred Gyi, a cameraman, and Valorie Moser, a bookkeeper for GirlsDoPorn, also pleaded guilty for their involvement in the sex trafficking conspiracy.[4] [5]
Fugitive[edit]
On November 6, 2019, a federal arrest warrant for Pratt was issued in the United States District Court for the Southern District of California.[6]. On October 21, 2021, a $50,000 reward was offered for information leading to his arrest.[7]
