Kovac debuted in 1993 and competed for the CWA starting in 1996. With a weight of just over 105 kg, he is one of the heavyweights. He is 180 cm tall and has wrestled in Ireland, France, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, Finland, Denmark, America and many other countries.

During his career he worked with big names like Fit Finlay, Rob van Dam, Sabu, 2Cold Scorpio, Bam Bam Bigelow, Dan Severn, Tazz, Masato Tanaka, Kendo Kashin, Minoru Tanaka, Yutaka Yoshie, Funaki, The Headshrikers, Carl Oulette, Jesse James, Jerry Lynn, A. Martin got the name "Michael Kovac" from the legend "Big" Otto Wanz.[2] He reminded him of Joshi Kovac (a Hungarian wrestler).[3]
