Michele Marie Dalene (born February 13, 1968), also known by her self-titled "North American Snow Queen", is an American internet personality and broadcaster.
Early life
Michele Dalene was born on February 13, 1968 in Winsted, Connecticut. She was born intersex (or hermaphrodite) and decided to transition to female at a young age, leading to her legal name being changed to Michele. She had an unnamed sister who died in 2017.
North American Snow Queen
Dalene claims she was crowned "North American Snow Queen" by Mother and Father God on December 21, 2011 at UTC±00:00. She claims she is a witch who can predict and control the weather during the winter months.
Career and occupational status
On July 16, 2010, Dalene created her YouTube channel under her full name and began posting videos, mainly complaining about her monthly check from the Social Security Administration. Her earlier videos feature her in a plain, unedited environment.
In 2015, she began broadcasting on YouTube where she hosted a talk show that covered various topics from world news, comedy, sex, disability and gender identity. Her show would allow viewers to call-in and voice their opinions. In later years, she has discontinued the phone calls due to trolling.
Kiwi Farms
Starting in early March 2018, Dalene began to appear on the online forum Kiwi Farms after being discovered by an internet troll, presumably due to her call-in show that she hosted daily. The first forum post was titled "I Found The Next Chris Chan".[1] Chris Chan is an American internet personality. She began becoming vulnerable due to her disability, and trolls that called her show continued to take advantage of her.
Lumi Anne Finistra
Dalene has an often-called "imaginary" companion whose full name is Lumi Anne Finistra.[2] During her broadcasts, "Lumi" appears to speak to Michele during events of danger or malice.
Documentary
On January 26, 2019, a documentary was released on YouTube featuring Dalene and her alter-ego Lumi. It features details about events in her life along with her internet persona and was produced by Richard Amtmann in her hometown of Winsted.[3]
Personal affairs
On March 11, 2010, Michele presented a testimony to the Connecticut Appropriations Committee regarding medicaid cuts to people who are on fixed incomes.[4]
