MicroEJ is an IP vendor for cost-driven electronics devices, for realtime and embedded systems, headquartered in Nantes (France) with subsidiaries in Boston (United States).

MicroEJ was founded by Dr. Fred Rivard as Industrial Smart Software Technology, and has been renamed as MicroEJ with the funding of Innovacom by 2012.
The company started to design specific virtualization IP for large corporate companies, before launching its first standard product line by 2014.

Products MicroEJ flagship is made of:
- MicroEJ VEE: secure Virtual Execution Environment for MCU, MPU, SoC & communication modules.
- MicroEJ SDK: Development tools to assist engineers in designed applications for Powered by MicroEJ electronic devices
- MicroEJ STUDIO: For developing applications for MicroEJ-ready devices
- MicroEJ FORGE: A white label applications store
Applications for Powered by MicroEJ devices are written using mainly two languages: C and Java.
