Midhun Jyothi is an Indian film director, screenwriter, actor and editor who predominantly works in Malayalam cinema. 18+ and Merry Christmas are his recent works.
Early and personal life
Midhun Jyothi was born in Trivandrum, Kerala, to Jyothi and Deepa. He completed a BA in film making and TV production at Chetana College of Media and Performing Arts, Thrissur.
Career
After graduation, Midhun directed his first film in 2020, titled 18+[1]. It is an experimental film with a single actor. This film was released in 2023 and won a special jury award for best actor at the Satyajit Ray Golden Arc Awards 2022. His next movie is Merry Christmas[2], which is yet to be released; he is also the editor of the movie.
