Miklós Palencsár (born 1977) is a Hungarian economist, business strategist, and “business mentor”. As an international business specialist, he is the creator and developer of the RISE System, which interprets and analyses personality and behaviour-based decision-making mechanisms. In 2021, he was named the "Business Coaching Leader of the Year, Europe",[1] and Mentors & Partners Group, the firm he manages, was named the "Most Innovative Business Advisory Firm, 2021"[2] and the RISE system he co-founded was named the "Most Effective HR Consultancy, 2021". His first book, published in 2012, covers the basics of the system he built. The RISE system is capable of identifying and typing 1 million unique personality types, which helps understand and influence people's decision-making mechanisms.[3] Under his leadership, his psychology-based system was used to mentally coach athletes at the Tokyo Olympics.[4] RISE has been instrumental in winning Hungarian Olympic medals in both individual and team sports.

Born in Hungary, Miklós Palencsár graduated as an economist from the University of Agricultural Sciences in Gödöllő, where he is considered a "notable alumnus".[5] He started his career at Citibank, and he finished his multinational career as Head of Strategy at Trader Classified Media, and at the age of 28, he started his own strategic consulting firm, Mentors & Partners Group.[6] Mentors & Partners Group has become a specialist and leading player in the business development market thanks to its unique mentoring methodology.[7] He is currently based in several European and American cities for short and long periods, adapting to the business development needs of his clients, and currently lives in Budapest. Besides business development, he has been involved in sports mentoring for 16 years. He is credited with the success of several club teams and national teams and has supported several medals and successful performances at the Tokyo Olympics using the RISE system.

Business Mentoring[edit]

In Hungary, he practiced mentoring, a special business development methodology already practiced in international business, but which was little known in Hungarian business circles. According to his theory, in modern business development, the client needs both the consultant's rigorous results-based, project-oriented approach and the psychological, individual-oriented development of coaching. The mentor brings these two areas together. His projects come from the international business, sport, and education sectors. He also supports several international decision-makers as a private mentor. His mentoring work is based on the RISE decision-making mechanism, of which he is also the a founder/owner.[8]

The RISE System[edit]

Personality-based business theory is based on the creation of a unique psychological system. Mr Palencsár has been working on the foundations of the RISE Human Development System since 2000 with the support of his international team of consultants. Currently, the system is able to identify up to 112.68 trillion unique personality types based on a database of more than 1 million individual assessments and nearly 3 million partner responses. The method of identification is different from typical ones, as it does not try to prove abstract psychological theories with results, but instead shapes a theory directly from business, sports, educational and private results. As a result, RISE is now one of the most dominant analytical tools in international business and sport. RISE representatives are regular guest speakers in the strategy section of national conferences and a consulting strategy partner of an international business development magazine.[9] - Mr Palencsár is a regular guest at management conferences and clubs. .[10] The Human Hungary conference series was launched based on the RISE theory. This professional history also formed the basis for the publication of Hungary's first business development magazine, DECISION.[11][12]

Works[edit]

In 2012, Mr Palencsár published his first book on the basics of RISE, which has since attracted 182,000 readers, making it one of the most successful business publications in Hungary. The book's reception led to the electronic version, which allowed it to be easily distributed abroad. It is now read by businesspeople from 18 countries on 4 continents who use the system. His second book was published in 2016. Its theme is personality-based sales. Due to its specific topic, it is particularly popular in the world of commercial decision makers.[13]

His third book, Castles by Ants, was published in 2020. It discusses the relationship between sport and psychological systems, and lays the foundations for the personality-based development of sport using the RISE system. This has made it an important read for sports professionals, club coaches, national team captains, and elite athletes.[14]

His fourth book, Diamond Dough Kid, was published in January 2021, and discusses a new, personality-based methodology for child-rearing.[15] The book is available free of charge to parents, supporting the building of successful futures for children via modern and successful parenting.

The books have become teaching material for renowned national institutions under the headings "Modern Business Communication" and "Modern Business Strategy". It is the development basis for national teams and club teams that have achieved international success.
