The Millennium class is an upcoming class of Cruise ships owned by Carnival Cruise Lines, a subdivision of the Carnival Corporation. The Millennium design is a modified Carnival design, based on the Destiny class, Conquest class, and Vista Class. It will use the same cruise funnel smokestack as the Fantasy, Destiny, and Conquest class Carnival cruise ship. The Millennium-class ships of Carnival will be the largest ships of the fleet by then. And also the first Carnival Cruise ships to be Star Wars themed (Dr. Seuss will still exist in the Millennium-class). The class was named after Carnival Freedom's Millennium atrium. This class of cruise ships will also have the first IMAX dome-theater at sea.
