Products[edit]
AQUILA: The AQUILA-M1 is a 203 kg, 3 axis stabilized, low Earth orbit (LEO) spacecraft that can host 3 payloads, which was launched on February 6, 2011 on a Minotaur-1 from Vandenberg Air Force Base in California and has operated for 5+ years. Millennium Space Systems has provided more than 30 spacecraft for more than 6 flight programs and missions - including the AQUILA-M8 spacecraft, a 1,000 kg, 3 axis stabilized, medium geostationary equatorial orbit (GEO) spacecraft with that can host payloads over 400 kg (planned to launch in 2018).[9] The Rapid Pathfinder is an experimental microsatellite launched in 2011 for the U.S. National Reconnaissance Office (NRO).[10] Built on the AQUILA-M1 platform, the satellite measures 50 x 50 x 50 centimeters and weighs 235 kg with payload.[11] The spacecraft first launched from Vandenberg Air Force Base on February 6, 2011 into a high-inclination, high-altitude low Earth orbit (LEO).[12]
ALTAIR: The ALTAIR small satellite platform is a 3D-printed, software-defined spacecraft that reduces the AQUILA price record and readiness schedule by more than 75%.[13]
Space Enabled Effects for Military Engagements (SeeMe): The SeeMe U.S. Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) project aims to supply U.S. defense forces around the world with data and imagery directly from a satellite constellation in low Earth orbit (LEO).[14] Millennium flew an optical system atmospheric test platform, measuring 270 centimeters on each side, in 2013.[15][16]
Millennium license manufactures reaction wheels, used in satellite stabilization and maneuvring systems.[17][18][19]
