Mir Mohammed Helal Uddin (born 12 August 1982)[1] is a Bangladeshi barrister and Bangladesh Nationalist Party politician. He is a member of the national executive committee and foreign relations committee of the party[2][3][4]
Uddin is imprisoned for 3 years since October 2020 for hiding assets and accumulating illegal wealth.[5][6][7][8]

Uddin is a member of the Dhaka Bar Association. His father, Mir Mohammad Nasiruddin, is a former vice-chairman of BNP.[1]
Uddin served as a legal team member for former Prime Minister of Bangladesh and BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia.[9] He was an advisor of Bangladesh Student Forum.[10]
Uddin was nominated by BNP to compete for the 11th Jatiya Sangsad election representing the Chittagong-5 constituency to be held on 30 December 2018. But on 3 December, the returning officers rejected his nomination paper on allegation of the cases of hiding income and accumulating illegal assets.[11]
