Miriam Gamburd (Hebrew: מרים גמבורד; born 1947) is an Israeli artist and author.
Biography[edit]
Miriam Gamburd was born in Chișinău. Her father, Moisey Gamburd, was a master draftsman.[1]She studied at the Mukhina Academy of Arts in St. Petersburg.[2] She graduated from the Saint Petersburg Stieglitz State Academy of Art and Design in 1970. In 1977, Gamburd immigrated to Israel.
Art career[edit]
From 1999 to 2003, Gramburd was curator of the Israeli Wing at the Salon d’Automne in Paris. She taught at Beit Berl College.[3] She is a senior lecturer at the HaMidrasha – Faculty of the Arts and a lecturer at the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design.[4][5][6] Gamburd produced an album of graphic art on eroticism in the Talmud accompanied by texts on the topic.[7]
