Mitthulal Agrahari
Mitthulal Agrahari (died 2009) was an Indian freedom fighter, and he was jailed for participating in the Independence movement in 1942.
Early life
He was from Pashchimi Kaudiya Pakka Pokhra of Shahganj in present-day Jaunpur, Uttar Pradesh. He hailed from Azamgarh, United Provinces, British India.
Imprisonment
Mitthulal Agrahari was actively involved in the freedom movement in 1942 during the Quit India Movement. A case was registered against him under 38 & 35(4) DIR. He was arrested and imprisoned for six months on 3 September 1942.
Death and honour
At the age of 105, Mitthulal Agrahari died on 5 October 2009, in the morning, following a heart attack. He was cremated with the Guard of Honor. [1]
