MoJo Global Arts is an independent film production company, management company, and international sales agency that was founded in 2019 by CEO and film producer Morris Ruskin and filmmaker Jordan Walker-Pearlman.[1]

Overview[edit]

In 2022 MoJo's Iron Family, a documentary about a 32-year-old woman with down syndrome who is obsessed with soap operas, Barbie dolls and Matthew McConaughey, premiered at the prestigious Slamdance Film Festival.[2] In April 2022 it was announced that a documentary about Gene Wilder, directed by Emmy-nominated Chris Smith (filmmaker) titled Wilder was in production with Mojo.[3][4] Single Mother By Choice, a film about a single mother during the covid pandemic, premiered on HBO Max in 2021.[5] In 2022 MoJo produced a Shari Lewis documentary Directed by the Emmy-nominated Lisa D'Apolito.[6] MoJo also brokered the VOD deal with Showtime (TV network) for South Africa's Oscar's submission Knuckle City in 2020.[7] In 2019, it was also reported that Will Smith's Overbrook Entertainment was to Co-produce a Documentary series about an urban youth racing school with MoJo.[8] In 2019 MoJo struck a deal with Enchufe.tv and 2btube to bring its American talent to the Latin American market.[9] In 2021, Morris Ruskin also Executive Produced The Swearing Jar starring Adelaide Clemens and Kathleen Turner.[10]
