Domain Entertainment is an American private media and entertainment financing division of Domain Capital Group, an investment management firm founded in 2008 by Patrick R. Leardo. Based in Atlanta, Georgia, Pete Chiappetta is the managing director, and Anthony Tittanegro is the executive managing director.[1]

History

In 2012, the Patrick R. Leardo owned investment firm Domain Capital Group entered the entertainment spectrum with a mandate from a client and invested more than $800 million through a "separately managed account that focused largely on film and television assets".[1] In November 2022, it was reported that Domain Capital Advisors had collected $700 million from investors for deals across entertainment media.[1][2]

In November 2023, Variety reported that Domain entered a multi-year financing pact with Warner Bros. Pictures, leading to the formation of Domain Entertainment.[3] Anthony Tittanegro is the executive managing director while Pete Chiappetta acts as managing director over the division. The first film that was released as part of the deal was Barbie, released on July 21, 2023.[3] Domain finances 10% per each film for Warner.[4] Through the fund, Domain purchased the song catalogs of Ashley Gorley and Iggy Azalea.[5]

In February 2025, it was reported that Paramount Pictures had entered into a co-financing deal with Domain Entertainment for a minimum of 30 theatrical films.[4] Domain had collected $768 million from outside investors and dubbed the investment fund Domain Entertainment Fund II.[1] The first film that was released as part of the deal was Gladiator II, released on November 15, 2024.[4] By March 2026, it was reported that $500 million had been used from the fund for the investments in the Paramount deal and purchasing Miranda Lambert's song catalog, alongside Sony Music Publishing's Nashville division.[1] Domain Artist Management, a musician talent agency, was established in Nashville through the fund by Bill Simmons, Chris DuBois and Kendal Marcy, with Brad Paisley serving as their flagship client.[1][6]
