Mobile Global Esports Inc. (NASDAQ:MGAM) also known as (MOGO) is the first Indian Esports company to list on the US stock exchange NASDAQ.[2] [3] [4] The Company focuses on esports competitions played on mobile devices by university teams and players representing universities.[5] [6] [7] [8] [9]
NASDAQ Debut
On July 29, 2022, MOGO’s shares were opened for subscription on the NASDAQ Capital Market and closed on August 2, 2022, following which it became the first Indian Esports firm to get publicly listed in the US stock market.[10] [11] [12] [13] [14] The company sold 1.5 million shares at $4 a piece to raise $6.90 million.[15] [16] [17] [18] [19] [20]
Championships
On April 4, 2022, Mobile Global Esport organised India's largest Esport tournament of Battleground Mobile India at Lovely Professional University. 24 teams participated in the tournament from all around India.[21] [22] [23] [24] [25]
