Mold-Masters is global supplier to the plastics industry specializing in Hot Runners, Controllers, Auxiliary Injection and Co-Injection systems.[1] Mold-Masters is one of many operating companies that make up Hillenbrand, Inc.[2] Hillenbrand acquired Mold-Masters in November 2019.[3]

History[edit]

In 1963 Mold-Masters® was founded in Toronto, Canada by Jobst and Waltraud Gellert.[4] Mold-Masters would be the first company to specialize in the production of hot runners.[1] In 1984 Mold-Masters Japan opened its doors as Mold-Masters enters the Asian market with the opening of a new facility in Kawasaki, Japan.[5]
