Molfar is a competitive intelligence company which uses data in publicly available sources for risk assessment and strategic planning, and carries out research into the reputation of business partners and job seekers. Molfar has an access to public and non-public registers in Ukraine and CIS, the U.S., the UK, China and Israel, and uses dedicated OSINT software for research and data mining.

The company’s office is located in Dnipro, Ukraine.

Molfar is a member of the Association of Private Detectives of Ukraine (APDU) and a member of the Association of Corporate Security Professionals of Ukraine (ACSP).

History[edit]

In 2014, three future employees of the company established a Department of Competitive Intelligence as a part of one of the Ukrainian Investment Funds. In 2019, following management buyout, Artem Starosiek founded Molfar.[1]

In February 2020, Molfar became a member of the Association of Corporate Security Professionals of Ukraine (ACSP). Artem Starosiek, CEO of Molfar, became a member of the Corporate Intelligence Committee. In March 2020, Molfar became a member of the Association of Private Detectives of Ukraine (APDU). Artem Starosiek was included into the Register of private detectives of Ukraine.[2]

In Jun 2020, Molfar was included in Kyiv Landscape 2020 ecosystem list of startups, created by TNW X global consulting platform.[3] The ecosystem was presented in cooperation with TechUkraine and Center42 as a part of Tech Cities of the Future project.[4]

In January 2021, AIN magazine published an investigation by the Molfar team, according to which the real name of the Russian web artist Duran is Bair Radnaev[5], the artist himself confirmed his identity shortly after the publication.[6][7]
