MOONDROP Technology Co.,Ltd. is an audio equipment manufacturer based in Chengdu, China founded in 2015 that mainly produces In-Ear-Monitors and Earphones that follow the Harman-Neutral frequency response curve.[1][2]

Early Years (2012-2015)[edit]
In 2012, The company was founded manufacturing niche Hi-Fi equipment under an unknown name. In 2015 The company rebranded to Moondrop Labs and released the Moondrop VX. They have since targeted small or unpopulated market segments with most of their products.[3]
Present (2015-Present)[edit]
In 2017, The Moondrop Kanas was released in an In-Ear-Monitor form factor, which they have used on every product since. [4]
The company first saw mainstream attention when they entered the mid-tier In-Ear-Monitor market with the Moondrop Blessing in 2018.[5]
On 18 June 2020, Moondrop announced it was developing its first Over-Ear Headphone with Electrostatic drivers.[citation needed]
