Mornsun (Chinese: 金升阳, stylised as MORNSUN[8]), also known as Mornsun Power,[9] is a China-based power supply manufacturer[10] with full name of Mornsun Guangzhou Science & Technology Co., Ltd.[11] (广州金升阳科技有限公司[12]). It was established by George Yin[13] in 1998,[14] and is headquartered in Guangzhou.[15]

Mornsun focuses on the magnetic-electric isolation technology[16] and its product applications, and specializes in making DC-to-DC converters[17] and AC-to-DC converters.[18] In addition to power supplies, it also produces chips.[19]

History[edit]

Mornsun was founded by George Yin[20] in 1998 in Guangzhou.[21] Since 2005, [22] Relec Electronics Limited has become the distributor of Mornsun in the United Kingdom. [23] In February 2008, Mornsun America LLC was founded in the United States.[24]

In October 2017,[25] Mornsun and SE Spezial-Electronic GmbH launched a joint venture company Mornsun Power GmbH in Germany.[26]
