Most Wanted eSports, also known as Most Wanted or simply MW, is an International eSports organization and competitive gaming company that is home to several professional teams in several eSports titles such as, Call of Duty, Rainbow Six Siege, Smite, and Counter Strike. Most Wanted was founded on August 6, 2014, by Luke "Felon" Jonason when Radius Gaming and MRKNWiLD merged. This date started the first iteration of the organization as it is known today. Most Wanted has competed and placed highly in a substantial amount of tournaments.

History[edit]

On August 6, both Radius Gaming and MRKNWiLD decided to merge to form the first of Most Wanted eSports under founder Luke "Felon" Jonason. Most Wanted attended three LAN events for Call of Duty: Ghosts in which they never placed outside of the top 5. After a failed merge with Team Curse, they decided to disband their current roster. Most Wanted decided to return in 2015 after creating a new system of executives and new management. Alex Arteaga became the new owner after signing a naming rights deal with the old owner. New social media accounts were created soon after the acquirement. From here the organization quickly picked up steam and started to grow. Most Wanted acquired U4X eSports' roster[1] and proceeded to attend events from Major League Gaming to UMG Gaming. In 2016, the team started to place highly at various online and LAN events. Starting off the year at MES Detroit 10K, placing 2nd with Hate, Proodian, Glory and Tempo. After several performances, Most Wanted planned to expand into different types of eSports genres. Most Wanted soon expanded to other games consisting of Call of Duty, Smite, and other teams that they believed would make an impact. Later in the year of 2016, the Twitter of Most Wanted received verification on October 18.[2] On April 5, 2017, Most Wanted horizontally merged with the organizations CarbonSix and XtroVert eSports.[3] On June 1st, in 2017, the Most Wanted twitter tweeted[4] that it was ending and the CEO followed up with a tweet stating it was ending due to the running of two organizations being too much stress on him, resulting in the ending of the organization.[5]
