Incident[edit]
On August 7, 2018, Holgerson and others were recorded standing on the edge of a 60-foot (18 m) tall bridge over Lewis River at Moulton Falls Regional Park in Clark County, Washington. The bridge had several signs warning against jumping off, though it was commonly ignored.[2] Bystanders were heard counting down as Holgerson hesitated, then Smith was seen shoving her off the bridge, causing Holgerson to fall and land face-first in the river.[3] First responders found Holgerson out of the water when they arrived and she was alert and conscious while taken to the hospital by ambulance.[2]
