On July 30, 2021, an explosion near a police van in the Karkhano Market area of Peshawar killed a police officer and injured another.[1][2][3]
According to police, the body of the deceased policeman was rushed to Hayatabad Medical Complex while an injured man was discharged after receiving medical treatment. A heavy contingent of police reached the spot after the blast.[4] Bomb Disposal Squad and police teams have been dispatched to the spot, and the nature of the blast is being investigated.[5]
