Moz Hossain
Mozammel "Moz" Hossain KC is a British Bangladeshi criminal barrister who has been shortlisted by the Conservative Party for the 2024 London mayoral election.[1] Hossain was born in Barisal, Bangladesh. He came to the UK in 1995. In 2019, he became the first Bangladeshi-born criminal barrister ever to be appointed Queen’s Counsel.[2] As a criminal barrister, Moz Hossain has been involved in some of the most complex and high-profile cases in the country, including murder, gang-related organised crime, and terrorism. As the Mayor of London, Hossain has pledged to tackle gangs to make London safer[3] and pledges to reverse the ULEZ expansion on day one.[4]
