Founded in 2017, the company develops software products for financial crime prevention and generative artificial intelligence (GAI) applications for organizations across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.[1]
History
Mozn AI was founded in 2017 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, by Mohammed Alhussein, Khaled Al-Ghoneim, Abdullah Alsaeed, and Malik Alyousef.[2][3] The company focused on the development of AI systems for financial institutions, including tools designed to support anti-money laundering (AML), fraud detection, compliance, and risk management processes.[4][5]
In 2022, MOZN raised US$10 million in a Series A funding round led by Raed Ventures, with participation from Shorooq Partners, VentureSouq, Sukna Ventures, and other investors.[6]
In 2025, MOZN introduced Agentic AI features and launched OSOS, a generative AI platform for Arabic-language data and document analysis.[7]
