Mrosso Commission
The Mrosso Commission 1993, was formed in Tanzania to address long-standing criticisms of the judiciary. Led by Justice John Mrosso, it recommended measures to improve judicial efficiency, discipline, and public relations. One notable outcome was the introduction of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) for civil cases in 1994. ADR has since become a vital part of Tanzania's legal system and a compulsory subject in legal education.[1]
