Muhabbat Gumshuda Meri (Urdu: محبت گمشدہ میری, lit. 'My lost love') is a Pakistani television romantic drama series based on the novel of the same name by Rahat Jabeen, who also wrote the screenplay. It is directed by Shahid Shafaat and produced by Momina Duraid under MD Productions. Khushhal Khan and Dananeer Mobeen played the leading role in the series. It first aired on Hum TV on 28 April 2023.
Plot[edit]
Saim and Zobia are neighbours and childhood friends and share a great bond. Upon reaching adolescence, their families observe that they have grown up now to which they should now limit themselves on their own. The friendship turns into love when a jealous friend tries to defame Zobia and in return, Saim gets into a fight with him. He gets caught in bigger trouble when faces the police however, during the incident he realises his feelings towards Zobia. After many ups and downs they got married at the end.

Production[edit]
In December 2022, it reported that Khan and Mobeen will play the lead roles in Momina Duraid's production that will be directed by Shahid Shafaat.[3] By the mid-April 2023, the title, other details and teasers of the series had been revealed and released.[4]

Critical reception[edit]
While reviewing the first episode, Galaxy Lollywood praised the chemistry of the lead couple, pace and youthful vibe.[5] In a review by Youlin Magazine, the reviewer praised the Shafaat's direction, acting performances, relatable family dynamics and the portrayal of teenage romance with describing it as fresh and realistic.[6]
