Muhammad Aslam Rizvi
Mufti Muhammad Aslam Rizvi Qadri (1934–6 January 2012),[1] the founder of one of the prominent Islamic seminaries in Bihar, was an Islamic scholar, jurist, preacher, educationist, reformer and saint. He has authored a number of books on various Islamic subjects. His tomb and shrine are situated within the vicinity of Jamia Qadria Maqsoodpur. There is a very interesting fact that they addressed the Hazrat as “Zalzaliya” meaning earthquake in Urdu too because his birth year was 1934 CE, a year which remained in the memory of the northern Bihar residents as a symbol of the devastating earthquake.[2]
