Muhammad Hafiz Bayero
Muhammad Hafiz Bayero (born May 14, 1987) is the current administrator of the Kaduna City metropolitan authority, known as the Kaduna capital territory authority (KCTA), Kaduna state, Nigeria.[1] He was appointed administrator on August 30, 2021.[2][3] Hafiz, a council member of the All Progressives Congress[4][5], is the youngest administrator to head a Kaduna metropolitan authority. He is also the chairman of the board of metropolitan authorities[6] in Kaduna state. He served as a Special Assistant to the Kaduna State Governor on Job Creation[7] from 2015; afterwards, he was made director Investor-Relations at the Kaduna Investment Promotion Agency[8] from 2016 to 2018. In 2018, he was appointed special adviser on intergovernmental relations,[9] and in 2019, he became the managing director of Kaduna Markets Development and Management Company.[10][11]
In 2022, as administrator of KCTA, Hafiz mitigated flooding in Kaduna city by embarking on a river dredging project that saved residents’ lives and properties.[12][13][14]

Hafiz was born in Kaduna State, Nigeria. He had his primary and secondary education at Essence International School, Kaduna. He is a graduate of the University of Aston, Birmingham, England, where he obtained a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering, and a master's degree in process engineering and business management from the University of Warwick, Coventry, England.
