M.S. Mujib ur Rahman known professionally as Mujieeb. He is an Indian film actor, writer and producer. He comes from very difficult family circumstances. He was not born into privilege and wealth, and yet, by his own efforts and hard work, has managed to achieve reasonable success in life.[1]
Early life and education
Mujieeb was born on 2 June to Mohamed Batcha and Parisha Begum in Ammapettai, Thanjavur Dist, Tamil Nadu. He studied in U.A.Appavu Thevar Higher Secondary School, Ammapettai. During his school days, Mujieeb was fond of writing Stories and Poems, as well as performing on stage. After completion of his high school, he had a strong desire to work in Films and hopefully, one day, become a Film Director. So, he wrote a letter to his favourite actor to seek a chance to work in his movie. Surprisingly, he got an immediate reply from the actor to come and meet him in Chennai. Mujieeb travelled to Chennai without informing his family to meet this actor. Due to his bad luck, the actor had travelled outstation for a movie shoot. A disappointed Mujieeb waited for another 3 days to meet him; however, the meeting did not take place. The favourite actor Mujieeb wanted to meet was Mr. Vijayakanth, an Actor, politician and leader of Desiya Murpokku Dravida Kazhakam party. Dejected, Mujieeb went to his uncle in Saidapet to stay. After Mujieeb explained to his uncle the reason for his travel to Chennai, his uncle advised Mujieeb about his family situation and urged him to go back to his hometown to continue his education. However, the Financial situation of his family was very grim. Hence, he decided to travel to the Gulf looking for greener pastures. After a couple of years, he was in the Gulf, Mujieeb did various Jobs, some big, some small. Later, he moved to United States. But deep down he knew what his real calling was. Finally after years, Mujieeb has got the opportunity to do what he always loves doing most, being an Actor.[2][3]

While many seasoned actors vie to don the khaki (Police) but don’t get lucky, Mujieeb, who came from the United States for a holiday to his native place, has landed himself a cop role purely by his luck! Mujieeb was a spectator at a film’s shoot near his house, and a chance sighting by award-winning director Rajaganesan fetched him the opportunity to play a villainous cop in the film Mudhal Thagaval Arikkai (FIR). Even before Mudhal Thagaval Arikkai could release, he got the chance to play supporting villainous roles in Vilasam and Masala Padam.[4][5]
