Mumbai Science is a Belgian DJ/Producer duo, consisting of Jonas Kiesekoms and Maarten Elen. The duo is known for their EP releases in 2010 including: Woof, Ancova & Gold.[1] They were formerly known as the dj-duo Project Cyborg.
Biography[edit]
In 2010, the duo signed with the label "Lektroluv Records", releasing three original EP’s (Woof EP, Ancova EP, Gold EP).[2] Songs like ‘Ancova’ and ‘Gold’ got picked up by artists around the globe (from 2 many dj’s (Soulwax) over Crookers to Erol Alkan, Boys Noize, Tiga and beyond), putting Mumbai Science on the worlds EDM radar.[3][4] In 2011 they were nominated five times for the Red Bull Elektropedia Awards. Eventually they have won the Breakthrough Artist Award.[5] Currently the duo just finished remixes for artists such as Mixhell (Boys Noize Records), Andy George & Jaymo BBC Radio 1, and (Goose).[6] Apart from their work in the studio, they do a monthly mix on the radio station Studio Brussel.[7] They are affiliated with "Beatz and Bleepz" and "PIE Artists" along with Sound of Stereo and Brazzabelle.[8]
