M. Vikas is an Indian actor, who has worked in Tamil and Telugu films. Beginning his career with director S.Shankar's Nanban (2012), Vikas has since appeared in pivotal roles in short films, feature films & web series including 8 Thottakkal (2017), Kallachirippu (2018), Gangs of Madras (2019) and Dear Comrade (2019).
Career
Vikas began his career with director S.Shankar's Nanban (2012), portraying himself as the grown "millimeter", a boy who helps Ilayathapathy Vijay, Jeeva & Srikanth in college.
In 2017, Vikas appeared in director Sri Ganesh's crime thriller 8 Thottakkal, portraying the son-in-law of M.S.Baskar sir. He was later seen playing a pivotal role in director Rohit Nandakumar's Kallachirippu, as 'Ram', the husband of Amrutha Srinivasan. Vikas is involved in a gay relationship, and his parents force him to get married to Amrutha. What happens next forms the crux of the story.
Vikas was later seen in director C.V.Kumar's Gangs of Madras as 'Hussain', where he played a strong negative role and received very good reviews for his performance.
Vikas's recent film is director Bharath Kamma's Vijay Deverakonda & Rashmika Mandanna starrer Dear Comrade(2019) as Comrade 'Raghu'. Vikas acted as Vijay's friend and gave his best performance throughout the film. He has received very good responses from the film fraternity and is sure to get very good roles after this film.
