Mursley United Football Club is a football club based in Mursley, near Winslow, Buckinghamshire, England. They are currently members of the Spartan South Midlands League Division Two and play at Station Road.

History[edit]

The club was established in 1947.[1] They joined the North Bucks & District League and were Division Two champions in 1963–64.[2] Although the club folded in 1977, they were reformed the following year as a Sunday league team.[1] They rejoined the North Bucks & District League in 1993 and were champions of the Intermediate Division in 1994–95.[3]

In 1996 Mursley moved up to Division One of the South Midlands League.[4] The league merged with the Spartan League to form the Spartan South Midlands League in 1997, with Mursley becoming members of Division One North for the transitional 1997–98 season, before being placed in Division One for the 1998–99 season.[4] Division One was renamed Division Two in 2001, and the club were Division Two champions in 2001–02.[4] However, they were unable to be promoted to Division One. In 2016–17 they won the Division Two Cup, beating the 61 in the final.[5]
