Mustapha Ali Busuguma is a Nigerian Lawyer, Civil Servant working for the Borno State Government and the current Permanent Secretary in charge of Government House & Security.[1]

Education[edit]

Busuguma holds LL.B & Sharia at the University of Maiduguri and called was called to the Nigerian Bar to practice as Solicitor by the Supreme Court of Nigeria in 2006. He also holds Master's Degrees in Business & Commacial Law and Public Relations as well as Fellow of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations.[2][3]

Career[edit]

Busuguma began his career as a Confidential Secretary and later  as a Public Prosecutor with the Ministry of Justice, Borno State. He rose through the ranks and attained the position of Ministerial Secretary (Deputy Permanent Secretary in 2017).[4][5] He was appointed Principal Secretary to the Governor of Borno State.[6][7] He is the currently the Permanent Secretary Government House & Security.[8][9]

He Works closely in collaboration with public officers from a wide range of professional disciplines and assist them in improving the operational efficiency and accountability of the units under their responsibility actively maintained.[10][11]
