Muzz (talent manager)
Muzz is the stage name of Michel Adam Jarmuz. Muzz is one of the former owners of AMJ Concerts in Arizona,[1] and was the first manager of the band The Format[2] as well as their tour manager[3] and lighting tech.
AMJ Concerts[edit]
Muzz founded AMJ Concerts with Sam Means and Will Anderson. The three had worked together at the Nile Theatre in Mesa, AZ. In 2003 AMJ was promoting 26-36 shows a month in Phoenix, Tucson and Albuquerque. The company was sold to Nobody In Particular Presents to create a "strategic alliance" in 2003.
The Format[edit]
When AMJ Owner Sam Means started The Format, fellow partner Muzz was their original manager.[4] Muzz helped The Format land their first record deal with Atlantic Records. After the Format found new management, Muzz continued to work for them as their tour manager and lighting tech. Muzz is even credited with “lighting” on the band's live DVD “Format: Live at the Mayan Theatre DVD.”
