My.Club

From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

My.Club is an online premium subscription service which allows creators to sell content directly to fans. The service is used by professional and amateur content creators including adult performers, models, fitness experts, and others.[1] In 2023, in an attempt to limit catfishing, bots and chat teams prevalent in the creator economy, My.Club instituted live verification for any creator interacting with fans on the platform.[2]

My.Club was launched in August 2021, shortly after creator platform OnlyFans announced it was banning adult material, to provide creators with an alternative that would remain adult friendly.[3] The platform initially rose to prominence through a series of high-dollar offers to sports stars, including PGA Champion Michael Block and Swiss football star Alisha Lehmann,[4][5] as well as to premier league football teams, including Chelsea and Inter Milan.[6], though none appear to have accepted the offer.

With the growth in the use of chat teams and agencies to manage adult content creators’ accounts on fan platforms,[7] and the growth of romance scams, MyClub launched a verification process that requires every creator to use live face-verification technology each time they log on, prior to engaging with fans. A study commissioned by My.Club showed that 58% of adult creators have experienced fraudulent impersonation online, including 11% of those on adult sites.[8][9]
