myAssetLookup is a UK-based myAssetLookup is a global register portal that was launched in January 2020, designed to reduce the crime associated with the stealing of physical assets and reselling such to unsuspecting buyers. Overall, the portal will help the law enforcement agencies combat crime in the society. It is a full suite solution proffering asset ownership register for add, search, ownership proof & transfer, inventory, and lost & found services for both individuals and businesses.
Content[edit]
myAssetLookup is built with the intent of helping individuals, businesses, and governments protect their assets with identifiable numbers e.g. mobile phones, computers (laptop, desktop, server etc.), computer peripherals (printer, scanner, etc.), vehicles, motorcycles, electronic systems (TV, music, video recorder), cameras, games devices, plant machinery, power generators, uninterrupted power supplies etc. By this, we aim to help in the fight against societal crime associated with stealing, robbery, pilfering, and looting of physical assets.
Our firm believe is that the crime of selling and buying of stolen goods can be nipped in the bud based on this conclusion: There is market for stolen assets because the unsuspecting buyers have no easy means of verifying the ownership status of the asset.
