MyHealthbox
myHealthbox is an online information service produced by a company called myHealthbox. The service provides verified, official information on medicines and healthcare products in 35 languages. The information provided comprises all the official documentation related to a product, which consists primarily of the Patient Information Leaflet (information for patients) and the Summary of Product Characteristics or SmPC (information for healthcare professionals). myHealthbox is one of the few platforms which provides official, verified information which satisfies three basic quality criteria:
- information is only from official sources (Ministry of Health, Medicines Agency and producers)
- information is up-to-date (refreshed every 30 days on average)
- information is unmodified and complete (a quality control process guarantees that information is not modified at any stage and is complete).
Currently myHealthbox provides information on over 4 million products available in more than 50 countries.
Access to information is through a search bar, as in most search engines; it is possible to search for any text contained in the documents.
