My Sleeping Karma is a German band founded in summer 2006. The band has released five studio albums with Napalm Records so far.

Since 2006 E-Base player Matte and drummer Steffen played in the Stoner-Rock-Band The Great Escape. After the singer left the band they continued as instrumental band. They were then accompanied by guitarist Seppi and soundboarder Norman.[1] Due to positive reaction from the audience they have been offered a contract from Elektrohasch Records. In the year 2006 they published their self-titled debut album.

Two years later the second album Satya was released. Since then the band names their albums after hindu gods.[2]

The band performed with Brant Bjork and at the French festival Hellfest.[3]

In autumn 2011 the band toured Europe and signed contract with Austrian label Napalm records.[4] The band continued to tour in Russia and Germany. Their fifth studio album reached 69 in the German album charts.

The band refers to their style as Psychedelic Groove Rock, but states to have been influenced by bands like Iron Maiden, Slayer and more modern bands like Tool.
