Myles Castello (born July 23, 1996) is a Canadian singer/songwriter and producer from Scarborough, Ontario. His debut single "What A Mess" was released in 2018 as a bundle along with "Right By You". These songs were followed by two more bundles, Cardio/Talk About It and Bad Company/The Thrill. Myles' latest EP "Excess" was released in October 2020.
Biography
Myles Castello first got into creating music midway through his high school career where he produced beats and started playing the guitar for fun. Later in the 10th grade, Castello started to sing and write his own music, which made him realize he wanted to pursue music as a career more seriously. Castello was a gymnast before fully committing to composing music.
In light of the Coronavirus outbreak, Castello released a visualiser for his latest single "Blue" detailing the strain it has put on everyday life while simultaneously keeping hope alive and working hard.[1] This was the first single released from his newly released EP "Excess", which was released in October 2020.[2]
Tour
Castello's Quarantine Live
Castello creatively geared up to virtually hit the road and perform live from his basement for numerous venues across North America in order to share his music with fans while everyone is encouraged to social distance.[3] The virtual tour took place over a two-week period from March 30th to April 10th, 2020, including cities such as New York, Vancouver, and Los Angeles. Castello sang some of his best hits, answered questions and teased unreleased content from the Instagram accounts of each venue during each date.[4]
