Myrtle Avenue was a train station along the Bay Ridge Branch of the Long Island Rail Road. The station opened in 1893, at Myrtle Avenue and what is now 61st Street. The station closed and was subsequently removed with the end of passenger service on May 14, 1924.[1] As of July 2021, the tracks remain active with freight activity operated by the New York and Atlantic Railway.
