Chase Christopher Daniel DeWitt (born September 19, 2002) known professionally as Mystic101, is an American singer, songwriter, rapper, actor, and YouTuber. He is best known for his 2021 song “Speedway”.[1]
Career[edit]
2010-2016: Acting[edit]
At the age of three, Mystic101 was fixated on being in the spotlight when ever he saw a camera. As soon as he was 8 years old he got into theatrical acting, his first time stepping onto a big stage was while performing a mime comedy skit at a Repertory Theatre in Orlando, Florida.
In 2011, he performed with his school choir for four years, traveling around Orlando performing at special events and for private events. The same year he became friends with television personality, Kietta Mayweather Gamble and her daughter.
In 2015, Mystic101 created his first YouTube channel where he did vlogs, gaming, and reactions. After having the channel for only a year, he deleted it. In 2018 he created his second channel under the name Mystic101 and became an Official Artist Channel in 2021. He announced that in 2022 or 2023, he would return as a YouTuber again.
In January 27, 2016, he got a call saying that Kietta wants him in a commercial for her business known as “EduMatics”. It was a commercial that aired on national television for a year. “EduMatics” was shot and directed by Adam Garcia who has worked on movies such as, Venom and Conan the Barbarian.
2016-2020: Music beginnings and YouTube[edit]
In 2016, Mystic101 recorded his first song titled “Red Robin” to music streaming platforms, including SoundCloud.
In 2020, Mystic101 signed to New York City based music distributor UnitedMasters, and released his song “Evil Girls” which features YungKidLi on September 21, 2020. He then went on to releasing three more songs under UnitedMasters, including “Over To You”, “Broke My Heart”, and “Playing With My Emotions”.
2021-present: Signing and Speedway[edit]
In 2021, he signed a label deal with FaReal Life Music Group, where he released his hit song “Speedway”> with over 11k streams on Spotify and over 2k views on YouTube.
On January 16, 2022, Mystic101 announced that he had left FRLMG.
Music Style[edit]
Mystic101 is known for his melodic flow and enthusiastic energy. He uses his music as a portal into another dimension where his music comes to life.
