NITron (Russian: Нитрон; real name — Maksim Aleksandrovich Kandykov; born September 5 2009) is a Russian rapper and composer[1].[2], known for creating a song about Perm using artificial intelligence. He is recognized for his patriotic and memorial compositions dedicated to current events and historical figures of regional significance. His discography includes 1 collaborative EP, and 26 singles.
Biography
Maksim was born on September 5, 2009, in the village of Chara, Zabaykalsky Krai[3][1]. He currently lives in the settlement of Novaya Chara. His father was a photographer, and his mother did not work. His grandmother was primarily responsible for his upbringing.
In 2015, he started the first grade at Novocharskaya School No. 2 named after Hero of Russia Igor Moldovanov[3][1].
He began his career in 2018 by registering on the Likee platform. In the first month, he managed to gain over 6,000 subscribers. For a long time, he experimented with various content formats until 2020, when he wrote his first song, which became popular on social networks[3][1].
Music Career
I started my journey in music back in 2020 when I became interested in FL Studio 20. Since then, music has become an integral part of my life. I experiment with various genres and draw inspiration from both classical and contemporary performers.
In 2020, Maksim developed an interest in music through the FL Studio 20 program[4][2]. That same year, he began creating his first compositions. One of them was the song "Kalarsky Krai," which brought him popularity among the residents of the settlements Novaya Chara and Chara. The success of the composition attracted the attention of local media, and the musician began to be invited to perform[1][2].
In 2022, he recorded the song "New School," which became popular among schoolchildren aged 11–13.
In 2024, Maksim released the song "Perm - City on the Kama," also created with the help of artificial intelligence[5][6][7][8][9].
In February 2025, Maksim published a video address in his VKontakte group in support of preventing the demolition of a local school[10][11]. On February 13, following a court decision recognizing the building as dilapidated, the school was closed. This decision caused widespread resonance among residents, who organized a meeting on February 14 with the head of the Kalarsky District, Vladimir Ustyuzhanin. Local residents had previously attempted to prevent the closure of the educational institution.
On March 1, 2025, Maksim released the track "Eternal Memory," dedicated to the memory of fallen soldiers[12][13][14].
On March 20, 2025, Maksim released the track "Hero of Russia" together with his acquaintances, dedicated to the memory of Hero of Russia Igor Valeryevich Moldovanov[15].
In August of this year, Maksim created his own neural network model capable of generating compositions with the vocals of famous singers. This led to the creation of a song about Zabaykalsky Krai, "sung" with the voice of the vocalist of the band "Bond s knopkoy" Ilya Zolotukhin, with lyrics by Maksim and music from the composition "Kukhni," which conquered Russian music charts this summer[16][17][18][19][20]
