NK Adriatic Split, or simply NK Adriatic, is a Croatian football club based in the city of Split. The club's senior squad competes in the Split-Dalmatia league.
History[edit]
NK Adriatic was founded on May 25, 2010, by Franko Bogdan. Shortly after the founding of NK Adriatic, it gained popularity amongst young footballers.
Football School[edit]
The club has teams competing in Split-Dalmatia's pioneer, cadet, junior and senior categories. Their success in these categories has helped NK Adriatic solidify themselves as one of Dalmatia's top three strongest youth systems. In their first season of competition, the club hosted the Adriatic Cup which was won by FC Lokomotiv Moscow. Shortly after, Adriatic began hosting their "First Steps" tournament which features clubs from all over Europe.
Grounds[edit]
Adriatic's teams primarily train in two locations: their facility next to the University of Split and inside Lora's sports complex. All 11 vs. 11 games are played at Stadion Hrvatski vitezovi.
