Nabaz Abdulhamid
Nabaz Abdulhamid Othman (Arabic: نبز عبدالحميد)[1] (Kurdish: نەبەز عەبدولحەمید, born 7 May 1971, in Erbil),[2] is an Iraqi Kurdish politician. He holds a BA in Law and Political Science from Salah al-Din University in Iraq. He has served as the mayor of Erbil, the capital of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, since January 1, 2017.[3][4][5]

Abdulhamid had served as the director of Haji Omeran district in 1998, and represented the Kurdistan Regional Government of Iraq in the United States with the Erbil Governor, and a delegation to Nashville to promote sister city discussions.[6][7][8][9]
