Nadifi Sellama holds a Doctorate of Medicine, a Master of Biology and Genetics, and a Diploma of Advanced Studies in Human Genetics from the University Mohammed V in Morocco and University Paris VII, France, as well as a PhD. in Genetics and Molecular Biology from University of Fez. Her career began in 1983 at the CNRST in Rabat, then she went on to the Cochin Institute of Genetics in Paris to pursue genetics studies (1985).[1]
She was one of the first Moroccan to ensure the transfer of genetic technology. She helped to create a Molecular Genetics Laboratory at CNTS when she returned home in 1990. She was named Head of Research Department when she joined "Pasteur Institute" in 1994. She has been a Professor of Higher Education at the Faculty of Medicine in Casablanca since 1996, where she developed the Laboratory of Genetics and Molecular Pathology, manages the Center of Doctoral Studies, and leads research and training.[1]
