Nagla Mahfouz (Arabic: نجلاء محفوظ) (born 1959) is an Egyptian social writer and artist. She works as deputy editor-in-chief of the Egyptian newspaper Al-Ahram. She is a member of the Egyptian Writer's Union.[1]
Early life and education[edit]
Nagla Mahfouz was born in 1959 in Cairo, Egypt. She obtained a Bachelor's degree in Mass communication from the Faculty of Mass Communication at Cairo University in 1979.[2]
Career[edit]
Nagla Mahfouz works as a writer for the Egyptian newspaper Al-Ahram and is the newspaper's deputy managing editor. Previously, she worked on several media sites, including preparing and presenting radio programs on the Islam Online website, such as the self-development program "Create Your Success with Naglaa Mahfouz" and the program "Succeed in Religion and Life" (Earbh Al-Din wa Al-Dunya).[1] In addition to her weekly writings on human development on the Look and overlook (Bus wa Tal) website, under the title "Enjoy your success" (Istamta' Bihayatek), as well as her writings in the field of family relations. Mahfouz works in the field of social counseling in the Egyptian Youth magazine (Majalat Al-shabab Al Masriyah) and the "Look and overlook" (Bus wa Tal) website, at the field in which she has previously worked on "The Egyptian Saudi Group for Telephone and Information Technology Consultations", Islam Online and the Ummah Website.

Nagla has published over 48 books on various topics. Including stories, humanitarian and social issues, and human development issues. In addition, she has more than 56 children's books that deal with purposeful stories and scientific topics.[1][3]
