Plot[edit]
Ramalakshmanulu (Chandra Mohan & Rajendra Prasad) are two notorious sons of the village cinema theatre owner Bullabbai (Nutan Prasad). Rama goes to a neighboring village to see a girl as arranged by his father towards his marriage and ends up in the wrong house and sees a girl Seeta (Kalpana). Cinematically, those in the wrong house were also expecting a lad to see their daughter at the same time and on the same day. Contrary to real-time arranged marriages, Rama goes to see the girl totally unaided by parents, relatives, and friends. Nevertheless, he takes a liking to the girl, Seetha and decides to marry her. Seetha likes the lad and decides to accept the proposal. Meanwhile, Seetha's marriage broker shows up and clarifies that Rama was supposed to have gone to see some other girl, but ended up at the wrong house. Hearing this, Rama, Seetha as well as Seetha's parents seem disappointed. While Bullabbai's father fixes dates for Rama's marriage to the girl Rekha (Shantipriya), originally chosen for him, a school teacher Viswanatham's (Ramana Murthy) daughter.
