Naomi is an upcoming American television superhero drama, created by Ava DuVernay and Jill Blankenship set to premiere on The CW.

Premise[edit]

The show will follow a teen girl’s journey from her small northwestern town to the heights of the multiverse. When a supernatural event shakes her hometown to the core, Naomi sets out to uncover its origins, and what she discovers will challenge everything we believe about our heroes.[1]

Production[edit]

The series was announced on December 4, 2020 with Ava DuVernay and Jill Blankenship set as producer and writer. It will premiere on The CW network.[1]

A pilot was ordered in February 2021.[2][3]

In March 2021, Kaci Walfall was cast in the titular role.[4]
