Nataliya Khazan (Ukrainian: Хазан Наталiя Вiкторiвна, born August 15, 1981, Dnipro, URSR) is a film producer, Ukrainian volunteer,[1] public activist, co-founder of the museum "Civic feat of Dnipro region in the events of the ATO" and co-author of the film "Dnipro – an outpost of Ukraine" about the participation of people from the city of Dnipro region in the Russian-Ukrainian war since 2014.[2][3] Honored Artist of Ukraine.[4]

Since 2014, she has been a volunteer of the "Country Defense Fund" charity organization, which collects aid for ATO soldiers.[5] She is also engaged in other volunteer activities to support ATO/OO fighters, for example, in 2015 she created the project "Dnipro Station" — a resting place for Ukrainian defenders at the Dnipro railway station, the "Soldier's Letter" project. Since 2016, she has been helping to organize free medical examinations for volunteers at the Dnipro Mechnikov Hospital.[6]

2015 — producer of the documentary film "War for Peace", created from 120 hours of documentary material from the front, which director Yevhen Titarenko filmed while working as a paramedic in the "Hospitaliers" battalion.[7][8][9] The premiere of the film took place as part of the "Ukrainian Film Days" in London, the US and Canada.[10]

In 2016, the first museum in Ukraine about the Russian-Ukrainian war in the East of Ukraine, "The Civil Deed of Dnipropetrovsk Region in the Events of the ATO", was opened in Dnipro, one of the co-founders of which was Nataliya Khazan.[8][11][12] In 2016, an outdoor museum was opened, and in 2017, an internal exposition of the museum.

2017–2018 producer of panoramic films in 360° format "Dnipro — outpost of Ukraine" for the ATO Museum in Dnipro and the English-language version of "Dnipro — outpost of Ukraine".[13] These are the world's first tapes in this format, which are made mainly from documentary chronicles, where the image is broadcast simultaneously on four walls.[14][15] The director of the films is Yevhen Titarenko.[16] The film was created in cooperation with the Dnipro Historical Museum and the Ukrainian Cultural Fund. The film is broadcast simultaneously on four walls, and there is also an online broadcast.[17][18]

Nataliya Khazan and other volunteers created a panoramic video hall based on the "Battle for the Dnipro" dioramas, which has an area of 150 m2.[18] After the opening of the museum, a demonstration of the film in 360 degree format was started in this hall, later the film was also translated into virtual reality and an English-language version was created ("Dnipro — outpost of Ukraine").[19][20][21] During the first two years, the film was viewed by at least 250,000 viewers.[22]

She was also the producer of the documentary film "War for Peace" about the war in Donbas (director Yevhen Titarenko).[23][24][25]

2018 producer "Battle for the Dnipro" about the forcing of the Dnipro in 1943, created for the Diorama of the Dnipro Historical Museum.

2018 – producer of the documentary "The Ways of Heroes" about the transformation of schoolchildren after attending a patriotic education tour.

2019 – producer of the film "The Righteous" about the Righteous Among the Nations who lived in the Dnipro region. The film was created with the support of the Tkuma Institute for the Study of the History of the Holocaust and the Dnipro Regional State Administration.[26]

2019 – co-producer of the montage of the film "Wind from the East" about Ada Rogovtseva, created with the support of the Ukrainian Cultural Fund.
